(note this course runs for
two semesters per year not four terms to align with ARA’s calendar) 
Run in partnership with ARA’s design school, this course in art and design context enables learners to earn credits and potentially achieve a qualification. 
In 2025 we are pleased to continue our partnership with the design school at ARA to offer credit-earning courses that may lead to a qualification.  

This course offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable skills and knowledge in art and design within a supportive and engaging environment. It will enable learners to communicate an understanding of art history through the application of design principles. 

Upon successful completion of this course, learners will be able to: 
-Communicate an understanding of an art history topic. 
-Express a personal response to artworks. 
-Develop design ideas through drawing. 
-Demonstrate an understanding of design principles. 

The course is limited to a maximum of 10 learners per session, so early registration is encouraged.
